So a promise is a promise: I am planning my TBR now, see? Done my homework. Nailing it.
In this delicious pile of books, you see Fates and Furies and Nine Perfect Strangers, and Normal People, the books I said I’ll read like, 3 months ago now? Let me tell myself one thing: It’s happening. I am going to read them this January.
I have tried to pick books that’ll keep me going as January is the grizzliest of all months for me. I need to keep going, it should be something that’s read easily.
I have high hopes about Fates and Furies, by Lauren Groff, it’s been recommended to me so many times.
Nine Perfect Stranges is Liane Moriarty so it’s going to be good, I hope.
The Doll Factory by Elizabeth Macneal reminds me a lot of The Miniaturist, if it has the atmosphere, I am sure I’ll like it. (Out in May, by Picador)
Sally Rooney’s Normal People is like marmite. People love it or hate it, so I am looking forward to discovering which train I am on.
Before She Knew Him is by Peter Swanson, you know, if you’re looking a fast paced, punchy thrillers, what else would you wish for? (Out in March by Faber and faber)
The Glass Woman by Caroline Lea is a mystery book set in 1600s Iceland so that enough excites me and I am looking forward to discovering it more. (Out in February, by Penguin Michael Joseph)
Have you got any of these in your TBR? Wish me luck finishing them 😀
I’m going to read Nine Perfect Strangers as a reward when I finally catch up on Moriarty’s books. I’ve read two and loved them both so far, but I’ve still got several more to go!

I LOVED Fates and Furies, read it years ago and still think about it now. Normal People is also on my TBR but it will be a while before I get to it.

Good luck!
I still haven’t bought the Liane Moriarty book. Kinda hoping it will be on sale, or that someone didn’t like it and tossed in the charity shop 😀
Hope the others will be good too!
I don’t think i’ll read many books this month. Started a Stephen King one at the end of last year, and it’s massive, so it will keep me occupied for a while cuz i can’t read paper books too fast.

you can wait for the paperback release, or keep looking at charities and kindle deals 🙂 or if it’s super awesome I can come and motivate you a bit more 😀

I finished it yesterday, sadly, it was a bit dull. It is not bad, but the plot was not original.. I kind of figured out what’s going to happen in 20% and it became a bit dull..
